The performance is a mixture of accordion and experimental music, combined with English texts read aloud that address violence in the context of patriarchy. She recorded the texts while walking through a rainy night. These recordings are played during the performance and layered with live-generated noise sounds. In between, she performs melancholic songs on the accordion.
Her texts are shaped by the grief caused by the violation of personal integrity, but also by the anger that helps overcome feelings of powerlessness, and by the offering of sisterhood as a way to confront and move beyond a widely shared experience.
