Thomas Hanisch, born in 1965 in Stuttgart, began his artistic career in the early 1990s with photo exhibitions, oil and acrylic painting, and “Nana” sculptures inspired by Niki de Saint Phalle.
Since 2017, he has dedicated himself to the so-called “sleeveface” art form, through which he is able to combine two of his passions—photography and music. He presents his works in various exhibitions, sometimes linked with live performances, and in 2021 he published the book Behind the Cover.
