Adele Siegl does not believe in linear life paths. She came to Vienna in 2008 to study painting; after several unsuccessful attempts, however, she no longer pursued an academic artistic career. She is now a self-taught object and installation artist, working materially as an upcycling and fiber artist. Her practice engages with the singular entanglements and interwoven circumstances in which our lives unfold and through which our identities are shaped.
